She was only seventeen when she got pregnant with her little girl and from that point in time she knew that she had to do everything to give Mackie the best life possible. And that was what she was doing; sure she was still living with her family as a nineteen year old but that meant that she didn’t have too much stress thinking about bills and such.
Rowan didn’t have class today. The photographer in training had planned it all out, she and McKensie would go to the park in town and just spend the day together. She felt bad that school was taking the time that she would have normally spent with her angel so, it was in some way, an apology to her daughter.
Rowan slept in today, though her nineteen month old was so used to an early rising that it only added up to an extra hour give or take ten minutes. She woke up to a stern yet soft calling from the toddler in her crib. "Momma! Momma!" the young girl cried. A year and a half was enough time to learn a child's voice especially one that your own. Rowan rubbed her eyes and got out of bed. She walked over and picked up her little girl underneath her arms and placed her on her hip.
"Good morning Miss McKensie" Rowan greeted her through a stifled yawn. "Mor'nene" the young girl replied. Rowan got ready for the day, and with the help of her aunt got Mackie ready as well. It was around ten by the time that the two had actually left for the park. The park was around a half a mile away from the house and it was a beautiful April day. There was no need to pollute the air with the car. A stroller would work just as well.
Rowan and Mackie arrived at the park twenty minutes later. Rowan laid out a blanked in the grass, freed McKensie from her seat and watched as the little girl played with the choice set of toys she had brought along. Rowan took the camera the hung around her neck and took photos of Mackie as she played. The day was beautiful and the photos were bound to be as well.

'' take your past and burn it up and let '' it go , c a r r y on i'm s t r o n g e r than you'll ever know <div align="justify"> James didn't go to the park regularly, it was more of a time-wasting hobby he liked to do when he had finished all his marking. It was in this situation, now, that James was sitting on his bed in his plainly decorated flat in London. He twisted and threaded the round brown laces of his leather shoes and created a bow flopping over his right foot, before doing the same with the other. He stood up, and walked over to his mirror, humming a tune as he did so, nothing composed, just notes in an order that pleased him. He frowned at his reflection, and fluffed his hair vigourously, I hate my hair, sometimes he thought whilst swooping his fringe slightly to the left for a change.
It was a pleasant enough day, not to hot or too cold, perfect weather for a stoll through the park only ten minuits away from his home. Keys and mobile in his pocket, he felt no care in the world. His mind was freed of all the stresses of work, and when he arrived at the park felt no imediate urge to return to his home and so wandered around for a while, following the winding course of the path through the fresh clean spring air, enjoying the sensation of sunlight and heat on his face. He, with alternate arms, pulled up his sleaves. It was then that his gaze settled on a farmiliar face, his friend Rowan Greyson. James changed his course to go and greet her and her child Mckenzie. At little over a meter away, he stopped and smiled, '' Hello Rowan! '' He beamed, '' Mind if i join you both? How are you? '' He asked, closing the gap with another step or so.

Tagged: James | Muse: 6/10 | Outfit: Click | Status: Finished Rowan clicked away happily as her daughter played absent mindedly in the grass. The spring was here and flowers were just starting to sprout up in various places around the lawns. Mackie was a part-time girly girl, everything she wore was pink and flowery but she wasn't afraid to get down and dirty dirty. Though that might have just been all curious babies around McKensie's age. This was her first baby, she didn't know that much.
Everything was trial and error for the young mother. She had to test things and practically learn how to do everything alone. Her aunt was a little help but Rowan was just to proud to accept any sort of help from her further. She already felt bad that she was living with her and not contributing with the mortgage no matter how cool Aunt Hanna was about it.
Rowan was shaken from her clicking by the sound of a famliar voice. The dark haired girl turned and looked over her shoulder with a smile. It was James. Rowan liked James, he was a nice person, even though their friendship was just blooming. She had met him at the university. He was a grade school teacher but he taught a few classes there. They got to talking every now and then.
"Hiya Mr. Hanover" she greeted him in return. She nodded happily at him, motioning for him to sit down. "Im great, just playing with Mackie here." she said turning to the 19 month old playing with a Ladybug. McKensie looked over and waved at her mother and the man she had never seen before, and returned her attention to the weird red thing on her hand.
Rowan turned back to James, What about you? How have you been?

'' take your past and burn it up and let '' it go , c a r r y on i'm s t r o n g e r than you'll ever know <div align="justify"> James bent down, with a smile at Mckenzie, and sat down beside Rowan, frustrated a little inside to be reminded of his duties as a teacher, but decided not to let it get to him. It's just one of those things he considered, i will just have to be mr hanover a little while longer. no biggie
. He rested all his weight on his right arm, which was pressing into the ground behind him. He felt the cool, slightly damp grass between his fingers and liked it, playing with it silently, but still watching Rowan's cute little girl. A slight laugh excaped James' lips, the thought of trying to explain what he had been up to since they last spoke was humerous. The list contained items such as searching every single social networking site he was a member of to find a girl he met at the Winter Disney ball, marking at least a hundred students books with the same optimistic comments, whilst squeezing in, miraculously, time for a few Friends episodes repeats '' Pretty tired, i've had alot to do. I thought i'd come out to relax a little, '' He explained simply. He smiled at Rowan, whom all of a sudden had a great beauty about her, '' I don't suppose you've had much to do other than your little girl, have you? '' He asked, sort of struggling to think of a conversational subject that wouldn't be awkward for them both. " it's a lovelly day, isn't it? " he commented, pleased with weather as the subject, not too risky. Rowan had always been the curious type, if she didn’t love photography so much she would have been a Psychology major. Having fun learning how to get into peoples head and helping. She was always the caring one in her family, maybe that was why she was gifted with her angel in the pink sunglasses that ran around on the grass in front of her. Rowan smiled at James, "Sounds ecticing, its always a good thing to relax" she said with a smile to man beside her. Rowan did yoga to relax and it was the best thing.
Rowan's green eyes looked to McKensie, "Yeah, Mackie takes up most of my free time. Don't get me wrong, I would never take her back" Rowan corrected with a soft happy sigh. "Honest? I cant see what would have happened if i didn't have her. She forced me to grow up and take charge of my life" Rowan said with a soft smile. Rowan might not have looked it at the minute but she wasn't the greatest at picking friends back in Bristol. She would keep company with the bad kids and they didn't want anything except to get the next fix. Thank god that she didn't stoop down to their level.
"Yes it is quite beautiful out here huh?" she asked glancing up at the light blue sky. Cumulus clouds were strewn across the vast emptiness that was the mid-day sky. The sun shone bright and proud slowly warming up the earth. All was good

'' take your past and burn it up and let '' it go , c a r r y on i'm s t r o n g e r than you'll ever know James couldn't help but smile, Rowan appeared to be so interested in his life, the life he felt couldn't be more boring if it tried. Exciting is hardly the right word, dear! He thought to himself. It was just a normal life, nothing really ever happened, except maybe this, meeting a friend in the park and talking to them, but even that wasn't masivly exciting. He could look around now and see a handfull of people meeting friends. James breathed in with slight frustration as another realisation hit him about just how worthless his life sometimes seemed, but James didn't mind so much as he was enjoying being with Rowam Greyson and her littler girl, now. James watch her play, all by herself yet still having the time of her life, little giggles often excaping her lips as she ran an skipped around. A butterfly caught his eye, and he watched it flutter around in a jumpy manor as he listened , yet still the blue butterfly was calm and fitted in with the surroundings beautifully.
James thought about how strong Rowan was as a person, she wasn't even twenty years old yet, and she was juggling a child and her education perfectly. James knew she was a wonderfull mother and that little Mackenzie would grow up to be a charming little girl, just like her mother. James, then, couldn't help but wonder what happened to his Disney Ball date almost a year ago, now. He missed her, she was beautiful and perfect. He wondered if they could have been a family, she having his child and James supporting her. He wondered if they'd have been happy. '' I think you make a great mum, Mackenzie clearly adores you, and i can see you would do anything for her '' He said with a smile, but not continuing to swamp her with compliments, as he did not want to scare her, an older teacher coming to sit with her only to compliment her would be enough to scare him if he were in her shoes. '' I should think it would be nice beside the sea, today. '' He replied, noting the warm weather and imagining the liquid-like sand between his toes, like a silk blanket of happiness. The seaside was always one of James' favourite places to be, he always imagined retiring there with a Mrs Hanover, and growing old together with the peacefull tranquility of the ocean before them. '' Has Mackenzie ever been to the beach before? ''
